Dear runners,

On Sunday, October 6, 2024, large parts of the Bremen city area will once again be dedicated to running: For the 19th time, the starting signal for the swb marathon will sound at 9:30 a.m. on the tried and tested route. The AOK half marathon and the Hirsch 10 km run for passionate runners will also be held. And the popular AOK children's run will also take place again this year!

The start and finish areas are in the usual setting on Bremen's market square. The route shows Bremen in all its diversity and leads past some of the most beautiful streets and most famous sights in Bremen. Runners and spectators can look forward to impressive views and street highlights such as the Werdersee, the Weserwehr, the Rhododendron Park, the university, the Bürgerpark with the adjacent peat harbor, the Überseestadt, the Schlachte and finally the run through the Wohninvest-Weserstadion before returning to the market square to thunderous applause.
