Il Gruppo Podistico Melzo è lieto di invitare tutti alla quattordicesima edizione della "Marcia delle Pecore", manifestazione internazionale ludico motoria a passo libero aperta a tutti, che si svolgerà domenica 26 Maggio con partenza dal Centro Sportivo Promosport Martesana in via Bruno Buozzi 3.
L’evento podistico, reso celebre negli anni settanta, quando era una vera e propria gara organizzata dalla Sezione CAI di Melzo, e ripreso nel 2006, grazie all'iniziativa dell'allora neonato Gruppo Podistico Melzo A.S.D., in breve tempo ha ottenuto un livello di partecipazione davvero considerevole, raggiungendo lo scorso anno addirittura i 1200 iscritti, tra camminatori, runner e “tapascioni”, che hanno percorso in città e sulle strade di campagna le classiche distanze da 5, 13 e 18 km.
Ospiti immancabili sono i volontari delle associazioni AVIS Melzo e AIDO Melzo, così come gli atleti del Filippide Lombardia di Cassina De' Pecchi e del Centro Diurno Disabili della Cooperativa Sociale Insieme - Melzo, che hanno più volte dimostrato il loro impegno e portato la loro simpatia lungo le vie cittadine.
