About the event:
Dallo scorso anno, le distanze della Brescia Art Marathon sono state ridisegnate e naturalmente omologate. L’obiettivo è quello di svelare attraverso i tracciati tutte le anime di Brescia: quella storica, con i resti romani, i monumenti, i musei, gli archi e le piazze, ma anche quella industriale e verde, che porterà a correre i runner nelle zone più periferiche, ma non per questo meno affascinanti, della città e lungo le piste ciclabili: si ammireranno, tra gli altri, il Museo 1000 Miglia, i resti romani del Capitolium, l’arco del Broletto, da cui si entrerà in centro storico, piazza Paolo VI con il Duomo Nuovo e il Duomo Vecchio.
Tutelato e protetto il percorso si avvale dell’assistenza di centinaia di volontari che lo presidiano e di un ingente spiegamento di Forze dell’ordine che ne controllano i punti nevralgici. L’orario di partenza della Maratona 42K è fissato alle ore 8:45. Le griglie di partenza accoglieranno gli atleti in relazione ai personal best comunicati in fase d’iscrizione
I servizi per i partecipanti sono dislocati a poche centinaia di metri dalle aree di partenza e arrivo.
La partenza è facilmente raggiungibile (5’) con la nostra velocissima METRO (fermata Vittoria) dalle stazioni esterne al centro che godono di AMPI PARCHEGGI GRATUITI (da sud uscite autostrada e tangenziale fermata S.Eufemia- fermata Volta- fermata Poliambulanza. Da nord fermata Prealpino- fermata Casazza- fermata Mompiano)
