Trail competitivo di Km 60 (D+3000m), Km 38 (D+2200m) e Km 16 (D+1000m). Partenza ore 07:00 (Km 60), ore 08:30 (Km 38) e ore 09:30 (Km 16) c/o i Chiostri di Santa Caterina
Una vera Sky running sul Mare nel favoloso e magico “parco giochi” del Finalese dove sentieri tecnici, falesie calcaree, grotte e scorci marini si intersecano continuamente. Per i corridori di qualsiasi livello sarà un piccolo viaggio sportivo nella storia e nella cultura di un antico e glorioso territorio.
Trail del Marchesato: una manifestazione competitiva di Trail running (corsa nei sentieri) che percorre parte del sentiero Ermano Fossati. Si svolgerà la prima domenica di Marzo. Si sviluppa su un percorso tecnico di 60 Km e 3.000 metri di dislivello positivo o 38km per 2.200 metri o ancora 16 km per 1000 metri. La zona (calcarea) geografica in questione è riconosciuta da anni come uno dei siti più belli d’Italia per le attività outdoor “estreme” come l’arrampicata sportiva, il freeride e il downhill.
Il tracciato è stato scrupolosamente disegnato per raggruppare tutte le caratteristiche della corsa in montagna e tutti gli angoli più caratteristici del territorio; salite ripide e nervose, discese tecniche, passaggi in corda fissa ed un inedito passaggio in grotta (ma di grotte se ne vedranno tre), con il fantastico passaggio finale dentro il castello medioevale di Finalborgo. Per i corridori di qualsiasi livello sarà un piccolo viaggio sportivo nella storia e nella cultura di un antico e glorioso territorio.
