About the event:
The Boston Police Department and Boston Police Runner’s Club invite you to the running of Run To Remember Boston in late May. Run To Remember Boston is a half marathon or 5 mile run through historic downtown Boston. Number pick up and Sports and Fitness expo is the day before the event. The race start and the Expo will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston.

Honor all 1st Responders killed in the line of duty by celebrating their lives and giving back to the community.

he course for the race unfolds through Boston’s wealth of historic sights and streets, taking runners from the start at the Seaport WTC past Boston Harbor and across the Longfellow Bridge over the Charles River, meanwhile running past the gorgeous, green grounds of the Boston Common and Public Garden.

In the second half of the race, the course takes participants along the river to Harvard University and within view of Boston University and Fenway Park across the river.

Mostly fast and flat (with the exception of a few hills and bridges), the race is run entirely along Boston’s city streets, with the largest portion of the race taking place along historic Memorial Drive, with ample views of the city skyline and plentiful areas for spectators cheering you on.

The event’s five-mile run follows the same course as the half-marathon until reaching the intersection of Cambridge and Charles Streets, where those running the shorter race turn left and complete the last stretch of the half course before finishing back at the Boston Seaport.

Large colorful commemorative medals will be awarded to all finishers of the 5 Miler and Half Marathon.

There are 7 Aid Stations in the half marathon and 3 Aid Stations in the 5 Miler, each located approximately every 1.5 to 2. miles for the 5 miler. All Aid Stations will include water, Gatorade and port-o-johns/toilets. UnTapped Energy Gels will be available aid station #5 for the half marathon.
