There is a 6-hour time limit for the marathon.
We are using a wave start.
The time limit for completing the marathon course is 6:00 hours after the start of the last wave. A 6:00-hour marathon is an average of 13:43 minutes per mile. If you find that you cannot finish the marathon within the 6:00-hour time limit, our bike marshals will help you connect with one of our sag wagons for a ride back to Memorial Stadium. Plan ahead. If you know you cannot complete the marathon distance in 6:00 hours or less, you should register for one of the shorter distance events we offer on race weekend (half marathon, 10K, 5K, marathon relay).

Initiatives for children and families: The Youth Run will be run entirely inside Memorial Stadium. The route is roughly 1K in length (slightly longer than half a mile). Each heat will start separately at the south end of the football field, make several loops north and south on the field, and then finish at the 50-yard-line.
For every youth run entry, you’ll receive a parent/guardian race bib, at NO charge, so a parent or guardian can run with the youngster.
