Un campanile in mezzo al Lago. Molti visitatori si avvicinano, si meravigliano e si chiedono: perché?
Cosa racconta questo campanile nel Lago di Resia?
Un sentiero ben progettato si snoda intorno al più grande Lago dell’Alto Adige. E‘ un invito a pedalare, fare escursioni e soprattutto a correre. Il circuito di 15,3 km intorno al Lago è uno dei percorsi più belli tra quelli che offrono le manifestazioni podistiche in Alto Adige.
Si può ammirare un magnifico panorama verso nord in direzione di Austria e Svizzera, mentre verso sud si apre una vista unica sull’Ortlers e sul Gran Zebru. Partenza e arrivo del Giro Lago di Resia si trovano esattamente in corrispondenza dello storico campanile di Curon.

Ogni anno partecipano circa 500 bambini tra i 8 e i 16 anni; i più piccoli gareggiano intorno all’ora di pranzo e a seconda dell’età corrono percorsi di lunghezza diversa, incitati da numerosi spettatori che li fanno sentire come dei vincitori. I bambini vengono premiati con varie sorprese sia appena tagliano il traguardo che successivamente nella cerimonia di premiazione.
