About the event:
La ciudad de La Paz, con el slogan ciudad en movimiento, tiene una topografía muy especial: está construida en un valle, tiene por ende muy pocas calles planas y casi todas ellas son importantes. El diseño de la ruta va por las laderas de este valle. Son 42,2 km dentro de una topografía accidentada y además por un recorrido que afecta mínimamente al tráfico vehicular. El recorrido une las laderas este y oeste, cruza los ríos Choqueyapu y Orkojahuira, discurre por los barrios altos y bajos por las avenidas y calles menos concurridas y más planas posibles. Para llegar a las partidas y salir de la meta se puede usar los actuales medios de transporte masivo como los teleféricos y los buses Puma Katari. Los invito a correr el 13er Maratón de La Paz por una ruta, cuyas espectaculares vistas compensan con creces el esfuerzo a realizar.
