La maratona Ekiden, la corsa su strada a staffetta, torna nella Repubblica di San Marino!
Domenica 4 settembre, una nuova avvincente sfida, sulla mitica distanza di 42,195 km, con la maratona a staffetta SAN MARINO EKIDEN (dal giapponese eki, stazione, e den, trasmettere) per team, agonistici e amatoriali, di 5 concorrenti e altrettante frazioni di gara: 6 km + 12 km + 6 km + 12 km + 6,195 km.
La competizione sullo spettacolare circuito cittadino di 6 km, nel cuore della Repubblica di San Marino, permette di scoprire le gallerie pedonali restaurate della vecchia ferrovia, attraversa il verde della pineta del parco naturale di Montecchio e, con il passaggio sulla strada panoramica Sottomontana, fa ammirare il blu del mare della vicina riviera romagnola.
La partenza è prevista alle ore 9:00, dall’antica piazza Grande, nel centro storico patrimonio Unesco di Borgo Maggiore. Tutte le frazioni intermedie partono e si concludono all’interno della zona di cambio, allestita dopo il traguardo, in Piazza Grande, dove è consentito il passaggio tra compagni di squadra del testimone: una fascia con il CHIP per il cronometraggio.
L’iscrizione è possibile solo in squadra, agonistica con atleti tesserati o amatoriale con amici o colleghi, con 5 concorrenti, e i team possono essere interamente maschili, interamente femminili o misti.
Per tutta la durata dell’evento intrattenimento e tanta musica con speaker e dj set nel centro storico di Borgo Maggiore. Al termine del programma sportivo, la tradizionale cerimonia di premiazione sul podio in Piazza Grande.
