About the event:
The Tiberias Sea of Galilee International "Winner" Marathon is the oldest marathon in Israel, held since 1977! The marathon passes along the shores and the amazing scenery of the Sea of Galilee and is also defined as the Israeli marathon championship with the standard mark of the Athletics Association. Many runners come from all over the country to set new personal records. Elite runners and guest runners from abroad also participate among the prominent runners. The Tiberias International Marathon is recognized by AIMS, the international marathon organization, and brings great publicity to the city and to Israel.
