About the event:
TERRA DE GIGANTES (Land of Giants) is an ultramarathon with a maximum time for completion of 74 hours. The 303km and the 11 220 of D+, of the course must be run in self-sufficiency between the support bases stipulated by the organization and guided only by GPS.
Linear route with departure from the highest point in Portugal and arrival in Nazaré.
Demanding - crosses a country from east to west : technical trail, forest tracks, asphalt roads, long climbs, painful descents, cold, fog, maybe rain or even snow.
It is a very difficult trail, which can be extreme if the weather conditions are adverse. Very low temperatures, strong winds at the highest points and permanent rain can put the challenge to an extreme level.
