About the event:
L’idea di una corsa in montagna a Salò è nata nel 2013 all’interno del consiglio direttivo di GARDA RUNNING ASD, società nata solo un anno prima. La scelta del nome è un richiamo alla “MAGNIFICA PATRIA” della Riviera di Salò, che fu una confederazione di 34 comuni della riviera bresciana del lago di Garda e di parte della Valle Sabbia, durante la dominazione veneziana. “Salodium” è invece il nome in latino di Salò, cittadina di origine Romana ai piedi del Monte San Bartolomeo, sui cui pendii si snodano i sentieri della MAGNIFICA SALODIUM. Dalla 1a edizione di 18 km con D+ di circa 850 m si è arrivati all’attuale configurazione con un percorso LONG TRAIL di 34 km con D+ 1700 m (novità 2024) il TRAIL di 23 km con D+ 1.050 m, lo SHORT TRAIL di 15,5 km con D+ 650 m competitivi e il TRAIL di km 8,5 con D+ 250 non competitivo.
