La vertical marathon più bella d’Europa: dalla spiaggia alla montagna, 43km tra i paesi pedemontani, la pineta e il paesaggio lunare dell’Etna.
La sedicesima edizione della SuperMaratona dell’Etna
Da un’idea della US Tosi di Tarvisio, nel lontano 2004, nasceva l’impresa da Guiness WR di scalare in corsa il vulcano attivo più alto d’Europa, partendo da quota 0 m s.l.m. fino ad arrivare a quota 3000 m, coprendo la distanza classica della Maratona.
L’impresa, riuscita in origine a due dei tre partecipanti, è oggi diventata la più grande gara di corsa in salita al mondo, l’unica capace di far percorrere una maratona con un dislivello di 3000 m D+
Corsa su strada sulla distanza di 43 km e 3000 m di dislivello positivo (33,5 km su asfalto e 9,5 km su sterrata) XVII edizione.
Corsa di 14,5 km che prevede salita su strada sterrata per 9,5 km e discesa lungo sentiero sabbioso per 5 km con dislivello +/- 1000 V edizione.
