The event takes place in the renowned wine region of Loudoun County, located in and around historic Leesburg, VA, one hour west of Washington DC. This world-class event offers a wine-oriented race experience, a destination location and stunning venue and course. The Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon, produced by Bad to the Bone Sports, is part of the Destination Races series of events and the only one in the eastern US.
The minimum age requirement for the half marathon is 12 years. This course is very scenic and flat on backcountry paved and gravel roads. *Please note there are no refunds.
